My Approach
Lead with empathy
I worked in the service and hospitality industry for many years. I started in entry-level roles and eventually worked my way up to management. I was very successful as a manager and found that my empathy for the team members I led built trust and strong teams. When I discovered UX and began working in the industry, I got the chance to flex my empathy muscle in everything I do.
Operational mindset
There’s nothing I love more than learning how something has ‘always been done’ and finding a way to improve it. I have an operational mindset and enjoy developing processes, making things more efficient, and making it easier for the next person to complete the task.
